Cruz In to Dubuque from the North, South, East and West
You will meet a Cruz Leader and have a fun cruz into Dubuque. Details on when and where to meet will be posted.
Cruz to Dubuque from the WEST:
Starting from the Shoppers Parking lot at 5049 NE 14th St. in Des Moines, Iowa. This is just north of
exit 136 on I 80/35. You will leave there at 9 AM taking back roads to the Amana’s Colonies with
a stop at the flag park in Brooklyn. You will get to the Amana’s just before noon which will allow everyone go shopping and eat lunch.
The group will reasseble at 2:30 PM to go the rest of the way to Dubuque getting to the hotel about 4 PM.

Cruz to Dubuque form the South: Convoy from the area around Peoria. Meet prior to 1 pm in the back parking lot of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, 150 E Ashland St, Morton, IL. Take exit 102B off I-74 to the first stoplight and turn right and follow Ashland 1/2 mile. If travelers are coming from Lincoln, IL on I-155,
just exit right onto I-74 towards Bloomington and travel 1 mile to exit 102B. We will leave the staging area at 1 pm on Friday, and take I-74 W, I-80 W, and US 61 north to the host hotel in Dubuque.

7:00 PM - BBQ / Cookout at the Host Hotel and Buggiest Car Award so don't wash your car before the cook out.

Cruz North with Bob and Charlene
We will be cruising North along the Great River Road on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River,
stopping to visit the National Brewery Museum ($7 fee for Museum Tour) and lunch at the Potosi Restaurant & Brewpub.
Then, continue along the Great River Road to Prairie Du Chien & cross into Iowa. One of our 1st
stops in Iowa will be at Pikes Peak State Park for a fantastic photo opp & view of the Mississippi
River; then continue South along the Iowa side of the Great River Road to Guttenberg &
Lock & Dam # 10; and end up in Balltown, IA, meeting the other Cruisers for dinner at Breitbach's
Country Dining.

Beautiful scenery, historic small towns, speical sights, lunch at Brewsters good food and a chance for a bit of shopping, and of course plenty of curvy and hilly fun roads.
5:00 PM - All Cruzs end up in Balltown, Iowa at Breitbach Country Dining for dinner
